The Alan Betteridge Memorial Trophy 2008

This competetion is our very own club championship, held annually. All members are welcome to enter the tournament and matches are played off handicaps according to the players ability. This year saw 32 players of all standards and ages competing to become club champion.

Entry fee is £5 and cash prizes are paid to the winner, runner-up and semi finalists. The winner also has thier name engraved in the Alan Betteridge Trophy which remains within the club.

Handicaps range from -7 to +49, -7 being the more capable player.

The 2008 tournament was great success and here are the results from the quarter final stage onwards..Congratulations to all players reaching the later stages of the competetion.

Congratulations to Alex Spencer who made breaks of 36, 43, 50, 50 and 63 on his way to winning to title.
